The band enjoyed a fantastic day at the on Sunday 26th April at the Fleetwood Contest held at the Marine Hall. It was the first time this contest had been held for 13 years, and our thanks go to Red Admiral Contests and the Leyland Band for organising and hosting such a superb event.
We chose to perform Un Vie de Matelot (A Sailor’s Life) by Robert Farnon, the set test piece for the Senior Trophy.
We were delighted to finish in a very respectable 4th place against a strong field of competitors.
