🎉 Congratulations to Sion Lloyd, this year’s winner of the Hilda Marle Collis Award! 🎉
The award was presented by our Musical Director, Mark Peacock, at our Spring Concert on Saturday 21st March. It recognises a young player who has made outstanding progress over the past year.
Sion, who is currently studying at the Royal Northern College of Music (RNCM), has been our principal cornet for several years and continues to go from strength to strength. Last year, he was also awarded Best Soloist at the Red Admiral March and Hymn Tune Contest.
A very well-deserved award—well done, Sion! 👏
