🎺 We are delighted to announce the appointment of Jack Butterworth as our new Principal Cornet! 🎺
Jack is certainly no stranger to the band, having been a valued member of our team since 2024. He originally joined the front row cornets before moving to flugel horn, where he has done an outstanding job over the past few years.
Following the departure of Sion Lloyd, who left the band to concentrate on his studies, Jack stepped into the Principal Cornet seat for Whit Friday and our recent concert at St. Paul’s Church. His performances have impressed both the band and our audiences, and we are thrilled that he has decided to take on the role permanently.
We look forward to seeing Jack continue to flourish in this important position and are excited for what the future holds.
