On Sunday 17th March our brilliant Beginner Band and Youth Band performed a concert to a capacity audience at St. Lawrence’s Church in Longridge with their Musical Director Jonathan Ford.
The concert started with the Beginner Band playing some fantastic pieces from a series called Lemon Squeezy. For most of these players, it was their first ever public performance. Many of them have only been playing since January!
The concert continued with the Youth Band. They performed a wide variety of pieces including Jupiter from the Planets Suite, Shake it Off by Taylor Swift and they finished with Sweet Caroline by Neil Diamond.
Thank you to St. Lawrence’s Church for allowing us to use their lovely Church for this concert, and providing the refreshments at the interval.

We are so proud of all the young musicians who played at the concert. Both groups are now taking a well deserved break and will resume their rehearsals after the Easter holidays.
