We would like to welcome Johann Mintoff to the Longridge band. Johann is our new solo euphonium player who joins us from the Darwen Band.
Originally from Malta, Johann started his musical journey at the age of 6 with piano and music theory lessons. Thanks to his father’s influence as a trumpet player and his older brother as a flugelhorn player, he started baritone lessons aged 11. Chasing a bigger and mellower sound, he made the transition to euphonium in his late teens.
