Congratulations to Sam Ogden who is this year’s winner of the Mike Cotter Award.
The Mike Cotter Award is presented by our MD Mark Peacock each year at our Summer concert. This year Mark chose Sam for his outstanding playing.
Sam is our Eb bass player, and in our last three major test pieces (Of Distant Memories, Variations on an Enigma & Journey to the Centre of the Earth), Sam has had some challenging solos to play. Sam has performed these brilliantly in various competitions over the last year.
